This hotel is seriously so amazing! Adolphus Hotel Weddings are both classy and eclectic. Their ballroom ceremony spaces are spacious, full of natural light, and have amazing windows. The first few floors of the hotel are full of unique spaces for portraits, and you can even book afternoon tea with your bridal party the day before or after your wedding at The French Room within the hotel.
This particular Adolphus Hotel Wedding was held in my favorite space, The Governor’s Ballroom (19th Floor Ballroom). Their reception was in The Grand Ballroom. About The Governor’s Ballroom from the hotel website below:
Ivory-paneled walls, dentil molding and herringbone parquet floor add timeless elegance to the 2,200-square-foot ballroom on the 19th floor. With arched barrel-vaulted ceilings and brass and opaque glass globe lights, the light-filled room is one of our most unforgettable spaces and will serve as a beautiful backdrop for your wedding ceremony or reception.

My biggest feedback if you are going to have an Adolphus Hotel Wedding, make sure to factor the elevators in your wedding timeline. There are a limited number of elevators in the hotel and on the weekends those elevators are BUSY. Usually there are bridal parties getting married there, and a few bridal parties having their wedding elsewhere that are using the hotel to get ready at. The elevators are pretty cramped and moving groups of people can take a hot minute.
Madison and Ryan were both so kind and easy to work with. They came with great questions, were considerate of all of their vendors needs, and were so stinking cute together! Madison’s classic silhouette gown fit her like a glove and Ryan could not keep his eyes off of her all night. I was able to work this wedding with my fabulous vendor buddy Mel as the coordinator, so my day was as easy as could be with her at the helm of both the big and small things.
We used the windows in the ballroom as much as possible for the portraits. I was obsessed (I mean, look at them!) and wanted all the moody and romantic images using that amazing light. After the couple grabbed a quick bite a the reception they let me take them outside for quick street portraits in Downtown Dallas. Love the variety in their portraits.
Congrats again to Mr. & Mrs. Goding!
