Check Out These Gorgeous, Modern Details at this Cliff House Wedding

This Cliff House wedding was full of dreamy fall hues, classy details, and an adorably in love couple! This venue is definitely one of my favorite urban options for couple’s wanting that white chapel wedding feel, while staying in the heart of the city for their Dallas Wedding.

This venue’s 2017 remodel brought it into the modern era, while maintaining the historic charm of the 1940s chapel. The white interior and amazing windows are perfect for consistent and high quality lighting throughout your special day, regardless of Texas weather. The neutral space is very malleable for any color palette or vibe. The exposed ceiling beams and beautiful wood floors are details you won’t want to miss. It makes for gorgeous wedding portraits, that’s for sure!

Below, check out some photos of the Cliff House wedding venue…

Caroline & Aaron tied the knot on Halloween surrounded by family and friends in this historic Dallas chapel. These two met on the dating app Coffee Meets Bagel and held their Cliff House Wedding two years later. Aaron is a mechanical engineer & Caroline is a flight attendant for American Airlines. Caroline is often jetting away to her job while Aaron keeps an eye on their sweet cats Ella and Peaches here in Dallas.

Caroline got ready at a nearby AirBnb location where we did a first look with her bridesmaids & dad before heading to the venue. We made sure to pop some champagne and jam to some 2000s throwbacks to set the mood for the day. I learned during their engagement session, that Caroline was a big fan of leopard print. You can “spot” it on her bridesmaid’s pajamas as well as a more subtle gold leopard print adorning their wedding cake.

We got perfect fall weather for their wedding which meant gorgeous filtered light through this venue’s many windows and lots of portraits in front of the classic chapel façade. Their ceremony was emotional and heartfelt. Several guests were choked up by Aaron’s special words to Caroline. I might have been among those feeling all those sweet words. These two were so easy to work with and had all the chemistry in their photos.

Their guests enjoyed a cocktail hour and photo bus after the ceremony while the space was flipped for the reception. We got a good laugh during portraits, because some of the local kids were coming out for trick or treating at the end of our session, and I had to dodge several dinosaurs and superheroes in the backdrop of the photos.

Their details of this Cliff House Wedding included lots of draped greenery on the exposed beams in the ceiling, lovely aisle florals that doubled as center pieces for the reception, and Caroline donned an heirloom veil that has graced multiple brides in her family.

Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Pavone!
