This bright and texture filled Nasher Sculpture Center Wedding took place on a particularly warm May afternoon/evening in Downtown Dallas. The great thing about the Nasher Sculpture Garden is that the mature trees provide consistent shade throughout the day. I love the modern vibe of this space and the willow trees and stunning water features make for amazing portraits every time.
This is definitely a venue that requires either parking in a garage for your guests or providing a shuttle back and forth to the hotel you have booked a block at. It is in the center of Downtown Dallas where there is consistent traffic even late at night. Providing a shuttle is a great way to let your guests enjoy your bar safely and responsibly. Always a kind and thoughtful addition when your budget allows!
Angela + Mike Nasher Sculpture Center Wedding
Angela + Mike held such a fun and wedding for their guests. Fun cocktails, amazing beats by one of my favorite DJ’s Ryan, and a dance party for the ages. I even got pulled into a mini mosh pit during some of the pop punk jams played later in the evening. Everyone was sweaty from busting some serious moves!
Angela’s classic gown was the perfect look for this artsy space. They kept the ceremony site simple and clean and got amazing texture in their florals for the reception space. I loved the mix matched bridesmaid dresses in pale blues and purples. The warm and bright florals really popped against them. I was particularly obsessed with Angela’s bouquet. It was beyond unique and I could have photographed it all day. The groom and groomsmen donned tan suits, which I think is a highly underutilized shade for spring and summer weddings.
The emotion during their ceremony was so sweet. They laughed and cried at each other’s personalized vows and I love to capture open emotion during such a special moment. These were some of the most kind and appreciative client’s I’ve ever had and it was such a joy to be part of their special day.
Congrats again to the newlyweds! Their Nasher Sculpture Center Wedding was one for the books!
