The Ostreum wedding venue is a eclectic and industrial spot within what used to be a Macaroni Factory established in the early 1900’s. It’s unique art deco features mix well with the original industrial architecture.
The expose brick walls and fun light fixtures make it a unique choice among DFW’s many venues. It is also unique because if the couple is feeling adventuresome you have the option to photograph on the roof. The only obstacle is you will have to climb through an old window to get there. I am so glad we did for this particular wedding, because those portraits were my favorite part of the day!
This spring Ostreum Wedding had lovely weather, simple yet classic decor, and a poppin dance floor. Their dog was the ring bearer and was such a handsome boy during his portraits. I was loving the saturated green of the bridesmaid’s dressed and Chase looked extra dapper in his tan suit. Emily was definitely one of the most in shape brides I have ever photographed. Girl worked extra hard for her fabulous bridal figure.
I was a huge fan of the way they set up their seating for their ceremony. It was lovely for capturing guest reactions and ensured everyone had a great view. I hope to see more of this set up in future weddings.
Their bubble exit/champagne pop made for some lovely photos to wrap up their Ostreum Wedding. They got some impressive distance on the champagne spray and I got a little bit of a sticky shower myself.
Congrats again to Mr. & Mrs. Reynolds! Thanks for having me as part of your Ostreum Wedding.
