There is nothing more Texas for weddings than a big white barn. Modern construction barns have a special place in my heart. The Cinnamon Barn Wedding and Event venue is a gem of a location just east of McKinney in Princeton. Close enough to DFW for it to be convenient for guests, but far enough to have great views and open space. It makes quite the impression as you drive up, and photographs beautifully inside and out. The lovely bridal suite is large and bright, and the groom’s suite boasts a pool table to enjoy while getting ready.
The sun sets behind the ceremony space for gorgeous late afternoon light and the front of the barn is an amazing spot for sunset portraits. There is a small pond that can also be used for portraits. The inside of the venue can also be a spot for your ceremony. I had one recent couple at this venue get rained out and the ceremony photos still looked lovely. The space is just flipped during cocktail hour in this scenario. The simple white walls work well with any color scheme, from neutral to bold.

Madison + Nicholas Cinnamon Barn Wedding
This late November wedding had such great glowy light and the textured florals were to die for. The red and pink color palette was classic, but the florist really did something special with the mix of blooms and the contrasting shades. The whole space looked so lush and romantic! The ceremony space had a gorgeous circle arch that tied in with the reception space perfectly. Cones of flower petals were placed on the aisle seats for the recessional. Tossing flowers as part of the ceremony exit is one of my favorite trends.
The marquee sign in their reception space was a great bold decor choice, and the dessert table had so many yummy options for their guests. Their intimate ceremony/reception was quiet and fun, and their Rolls Royce get away car was a classic end to their Cinnamon Barn Wedding.
