This summer Mill at East McKinney Wedding was full of blue & blush details along with loads of greenery and hanging lights. The exposed brick walls paired with the decor gave the space a romantic urban feel. This venue is a unique and historic one one. Built in 1899 The Mill at East McKinney Wedding & Event Venue sits in the heart of downtown McKinney. Stunning hardwood floors and beams are original construction, with all renovations done with original materials of the building site. The large warehouse windows make lighting for an indoor ceremony consistent for most of the day, and they also offer an outdoor garden option for up to 50 guests.
Kaylie + Jonah have been friends for six years and in a relationship for four prior to their special day. Kaylie is finishing up her education degree with a specialty in special needs/behavioral issues, while her groom is a cane operator who travels a lot for work. These two had so much chemistry as they danced the night away. They could not stop giggling at each other the entire day. It was adorable.
The bride had a wardrobe change into a more comfortable (and easy to dance in) dress for her reception and sunset portraits. Double the variety in portraits, and who doesn’t love a good outfit change? Surrounded by their closest friends and family, this intimate Mill at East McKinney Wedding was a blast from beginning to end.
Congrats again to Mr. & Mrs. Copeland!
