Oak Meadow Ranch Weddings is a venue I have been a fan of for many years. This gem located in Valley View Texas is a immersive experience all it’s own. Removed just enough from bustling DFW to have that true country Texas feel. They have a lot of unique offerings not found at many venues including exotic animals, all inclusive packages, and on location lodging for the bride/groom. The wedding venue owners Kristin & Eduardo along with their fabulous staff have made every wedding I have photographed amazing and so fun for the guests. Eduardo is a chef and does all of the in house catering himself. Everything I have had from his kitchen at different events has been excellent. Kristin is the mastermind of planning, floral, and overall wedding design.

A bonus to this venue is you can visit it even if you are not getting hitched! The Whitehorse Steakhouse at Oak Meadow Ranch offers select days where you can enjoy Eduardo’s amazing cooking, visit with the exotics they have to offer, and celebrate a milestone or just a great date night.
Allyson + Jaden’s Oak Meadow Ranch Wedding
This was the literal perfect fall day for an Oak Meadow Ranch Wedding. The weather was great, but the timing with the leaves was what made it epic. The breeze kept colorful fall leaves drifting down all day. The carpet of fallen leaves and the lovely light in the open air chapel were stunning. We were running behind schedule and had to do portraits in about 15 minutes total, but the results were great! Allyson and Jaden were high school sweethearts and I loved her unique opal engagement ring. Their special guests were Joe Camel (photographed below), King Julian the lemur, and baby Yoda the fox.
