The Springs has many unique venues scattered all over DFW, and The Springs McKinney Tuscany Hill Wedding Venue is definitely one I enjoy returning to over and over. The dramatic drive up to the venue is a great first impression for guests, the outdoor ceremony space is so pretty, and the indoor reception space has two floors if you have a large guest list.
The front of the venue is great as a backdrop for portraits and is usually shaded in the afternoon. The ceremony site is really nice looking on its own if you aren’t interested in extensive ceremony site decor. The inside of this venue photographs well in case of inclement weather.
My advice for this particular venue is to make sure your ceremony isn’t too close to sunset. The light is gorgeous all afternoon but is very direct at the ceremony site the last hour or so before sunset. Honestly ideal for a late afternoon ceremony and golden hour bride and groom portraits afterwords. They have a small pond and open field at the back of the property that is amazing right before sunset.
Caylin + Beau – The Springs McKinney Tuscany Hill Wedding
This day was the type of weather everyone wanting a fall wedding aims for. Sunny, low 70s, and gorgeous light! Caylin and Beau opted for a first touch to pray together before the ceremony. They also wrote each other letters that were oh so sweet. These two were very focused on their guests and the experience they had, which showed throughout the day.
Their reception featured bar-b-cue and an open bar that had the dance floor full and poppin all night. The bride had an extra fun dance with her dad (see example images below). This The Springs McKinney Tuscany Hill Wedding was a full party up until the last song.
