The Hillside Estate Wedding & Event venue is one of the newest editions to the Dallas area. Located in Cross Roads (just east of Denton along highway 380), this French inspired upscale venue is sure to wow in photos for any wedding or event. I visited it several months back during the grand opening and knew I had to shoot there the first chance I got.

The 17,000 square foot estate is located on 16 acres that is nestled among rolling hills with scenic views of the valley and lake. There are plenty of venues in the Dallas Fort Worth area, but The Hillside Estate combines a beautiful, unique space with a top-notch experience.”

Luxe Lavender Hillside Estate Wedding Editorial Shoot
This luxe lavender editorial shoot included fabulous details, gorgeous dresses, and lovely models. Fun fact is that I am obsessed with redheads. So having a stunning ginger to photograph made this day extra fun for me. The concept was by the lovely Nicole Lea Photography and was executed by Classic and Curated. The florals were definitely my favorite part. Abby knocked it out of the park with the soft purple tones mixed with neutrals and splashes of warm orange. Definitely some fabulous inspiration if you are considering having your own The Hillside Estate Wedding!
We got so lucky with the weather, because the first half of this day was dreary and rainy. We had just enough time for the sun to come out and dry the concrete and stone for some stunning outdoor portraits.
I also got to chat with my go to calligrapher and friend Jess with Write This Way Calligraphy. She provided all the fabulous stationary and even hand painted macarons for this Hillside Estate Wedding. How cute! I was using the extra macarons for detail photos and may or may have not broken then eaten it to hide the evidence. I figured it was a waste since it couldn’t be photographed anymore!
